supercalifragillisticexpialidocious


Perhaps it makes me a nerd (ha, as if there was any doubt)...but I had a favorite word growing up: "serendipity." Therefore, it gives me great pleasure to use this word now in a sentence.

"It was serendipitous that I didn't have a sketchbook yesterday morning; instead, all I had was my planner with lines which turned out to work nicely as a musical staff over the piano."

    Eclectic. Just love the sound of it -- meaning is kind of cool, too! In a sketchbook, in a planner, on a napkin... whatever you draw on it all looks great!

    I'm fond of "slackjawed," for reasons I can't explain. I once had a Russian woman ask me to define the word "actually." This was because it was a kind of a linguistic tic for me. "Actually, there's still some milk in the refrigerator," I'd say - things like that. But when she asked me what "actually" meant in that context, I was dumbstruck. Not to mention slackjawed.

    Cool drawing -- again, very confident lines.
    My favorite word, i think (though it might be subject to change tomorrow) is PAMPLEMOUSSE.
    Means grapefruit in French. And i don't know, it is much friendlier than the fruit itself (which i never liked).
    In English, i kinda like HENCE. What a cool word.

    I've had a favorite for years..."calliope". Saturday morning cartoons come to mind as they were often featured in WB toons. I haven't otgrown the word or the cartoons!
