I'm also getting impatient for you. I check onto this blog regularly, eagerly anticipating news of the babies' arrival! Guess I should work on the patience thing too, huh?
ditto!! i feel for you, my dear... my daughter - now 13 - engaged on 18 december 1997 and didn't enter the world till the 29th! truly, those were the longest 11 days of my e-n-t-i-r-e life!! sending love xx
OK, try this. It worked for me 19 years ago. Say to a friend, loudly and with the kind of self-pitying exhaustion only a pregnant woman can feel, "I ... Just ... Can't ... DO THIS ANYMORE!"
(Two hours later my water broke.) :D Sending you happy and hasty wishes!
I can't even imagine what you are feeling, but know that I am keeping you in my thoughts. Also, maybe this should be a print. It seems many of us struggle with patience!
Don't worry...one of the side effects of rearing babies is a great expansion in your patience well...that's as opposed to growing babies, which merely results in a great expansion in your midsection.
With twins, I have no doubt that your patience will be quadrupled!
For now - rest up...take deep(ish) breaths...enjoy those quiet moments with just you and Edgar!
Me too! But I imagine that in your case its about the imminent arrival of 2 little ones.
ReplyDeleteDitto! Hang in there!! (sorry, that's not very helpful)
ReplyDeleteUne véritable vertu effectivement... Bisous.
ReplyDelete*sigh* me, too. But I think what you are being patient about is completely worth being IMPATIENT about ;)
ReplyDeletei don't think anyone can blame you for a little impatience in this situation. i'm getting impatient for you! can't wait to meet the little guys. :)
