I have never been too much into celebrities and their whereabouts, period.
I guess this is because I perceive many celebrities to lack the quality that I most appreciate and admire in a person: humbleness. There are, however, a few famous folks who have gained my respect and admiration...not simply for their skills and accomplishments, but for the amazing down-to-earth humility that characterizes their personalities.
Great sketches! My celebs would be: Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett, Wes Anderson, Christopher Nolan, Daniel Day-Lewis & The Coen Brothers. Wow - that was a alot.
ReplyDeleteOoh! I love Kate Winslet too! I think she would be a cool person to know!
ReplyDeleteMichael Sarrazin, hasn't been on the screen in a long time..and from those not around anymore - Steve McQueen...and George Harrison. Georgia O'Keeffe, too.
ReplyDeletei'd love to meet steve mcqueen in the after life, but i'm not in a hurry. chris martin ran past our car with his surfboard once. i didn't care too much about him then, but would react completely differently now if it happened again :)!
ReplyDeletegood post! hmm I think I'd want to talk to Jim Jarmusch and I'll have to think about others that I'd actually like to talk to...some of the people I admire, like a sculptor Tip Toland, I've gotten to talk to and thoroughly loved her point of view. Great sketches!
