sketching others sketching
Monday was the first day of my last semester of graduate school. Wow, its been a LONG time coming. However, I have to say that leaving this semester is bitter sweet as my department has moved into a brand new building with really terrific studio space. I love it. Besides having a new, spacious, clean space in which to work, one of the great advantages of the building is the location of the graduate studio. It is in a loft that looks down on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year studios. It is really neat to have this bird's eye view and be able to see what everyone is working on at their desks. I also love the vantage as it provides a new perspective from which to draw people. Here are a few quickies from today. I'm sure this is something I will be doing on a regular basis from now on.
