A while back I got a pixie cut. I love how the cut looks in reality, but not on paper. I've always drawn myself in cartoon, but the short haircut just doesn't work for this purpose. I look like a boy, not Suzanne. Today I explored some alternatives. The ones on the top row are the past few haircuts I have had, the others are some ideas I am toying with :)
What look do you think I should go with?

i think you should go with the rapunzel or the mullet....but seriously....go with what you have now, its very cute in person, but as you said not for the cartoon you - it doesnt portray the way it really looks.

Definitely rapunzel!
Definatley NOT the mullet!!!
It's funny because I've just had something between the two bobs that you've drawn. It always takes a while to get used to it doesn't it? The problem is, with the bob, is it really needs to be very straight and sleek to look good - which is dificult when it rains everyday! So now I have to arrive everywhere five minutes early with my portible straightners!!
'Fro!! Definitely the 'fro!!
:)

It's gotta be the mullet, Suzanne. Hahaha. Do you get your hair cut or do you sometimes venture bravely into it with scissors and do the job yourself? If your hair is naturally straight, i will go with Andrea and say the Bob.
For the 'drawing' you I kinda like the highlighted bob. Its cute, perky, and adorable. : )
Forgot to say; Congratulations and well done on your 100th post. I don't know how you keep it up, the amount of work (great work too) you produce amazes me. I only hope that I get there one day! Just about another 90 to go....
I've had many of your top row since college. Everytime I tell the stylist to do whatever looks best I get a stacked wedge. Chin length in the front and slightly angled toward the back. I like whatever you have in the profile photo. You have a pretty face so anything probably looks good on you.
Thanks for all your feedback! I think I'll be sticking with the pixie for a while...but I might be drawing myself with an afro....
I've always wanted long and silky myself though I've learned to love the curly that I have. I'd vote for pigtails. I bet that would look cute. One time I did a similar series like this called "hairstyles of available men" when I started dating again at 40 after divorce and they all seemed to balding in bad ways.
Jana- I would love to see your series! It cracks me up just thinking about the comb-overs and such.
I definitely like the "mermaid" look - cute sketches!!
You forgot the always fashionable option of dreadlocks!
