I'm not particularly athletic...actually, that's putting it gently...I'm incredibly unathletic. I think all of those genes went to my sister Rachel. However, while I don't enjoy playing sports, I do enjoy watching them, especially hockey. Tonight we're going to see the Carolina Hurricanes play in Raleigh, so as a salute I decided to draw my hat. I had thought about drawing my jersey, but just couldn't think of a creative way to do it. I needed something simpler today.

Julie-Yes, I did use a white pencil over markers, however, I'm not too pleased with the results. It's all about my lack of patience again. The pencil I was using with really short, but rather than go find a longer pencil, I continued with the small one. Thus, my strokes and overall coverage aren't that great. I'm so silly.
I thought it was a photo until I read that you drew it!
