hope for reincarnation

Today was one of those days where I wish I was dog. Yes, I said it; I wish I was a dog. I had a design critique this morning and didn't get any sleep last night. I wish all that had been on my agenda today was to go out for a walk, sleep, drink water and eat. Lucky bastards.

Love the girl with the pony tail with her cup of coffee... in class apparently. And those shoes are so simply executed. Your strokes are so full of assurance. Is that even English? It's late... But about wishing to be a dog -- oh yes. Better than being the hydrant, right?!! Hang in there, Suzanne.

I've had too many of those dog days myself. How did it go?

Great sketches again - I like the girl with the ponytail too. And, yes, I certainly have those days. For me, it's when I have to go out to work early in the morning. The weather is terrible (as it usually is here) raining and blustery and I have to walk to work. As I leave I always say 'goodbye' to the cat who is curled up in a ball,on her favourite chair, her food and water bowls are full and the house is warm. How is that fair??? Still they're worth it aren't they? For all the cuteness they bring to our lives. I would LOVE to be a cat some days though.

I love your artwork! I wish I could give you a hug, because I know that feeling exactly, when other people's opinion doesn't align with the originality of what you do. I always had to keep reminding myself that my fingerprint is unique, and I simply won't please everyone, there is no point in trying to do that. Go out and do what you love, the rest falls into place, it really will!

It's almost as if you drew from a dog's perspective...all the shoes and looking up at people. Sorry you had such a rough day. I've always said if I was going to be an animal I'd be a golden retriever. What kind of dog would you like to be?

Heather- Not too bad and I only have one more big one to go before graduation!
Jana- I would definitely have to be a beagle like Pokey. Very little would be expected out of me and I would get to eat a lot, because chubby beagles are cute beagles.

I've enjoyed looking at all your sketches. A dog though? Hmmm, I think a cat's life is pretty good. I guess I'd rather skip the exercise part--no going for walks!
