lecture notes
One of the perks of being in school is that there are always interesting lectures to attend. On Friday, I took in four! Three of the lectures were part of the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) South Regional Conference hosted by my school. I found these lectures particularly relevant as they spoke to several topics I am very interested in: green design, architectural illustration...and the importance of sketchbooks!

Aw Suzanne I LOVE these. It gives us a real glimpse into your world, plus, your handwriting is so stunning. Amazing stuff.
Love this - sounds like a great lecture series and seeing the sketches mixed in really did make me feel like I was there. I'm very interested in the architectural illustration topic. Have you looked into that more?
I agree with Andrea--I love your handwriting. The drawings are similar--clear, well drawn, and full of personality. And the notes on beauty I found very interesting.
You make me wish I could take some courses. Beautiful notes -- so much more than a cut above doodling horses in the margins of math problems. :)
Thank you for the flashback to college! The pen drawings of backs of people's heads, the feet, interspersed with notes from the lecture. Perfect and so familiar. Don't you find that you can sometimes hear the lecturer talk, or remember specific verbal notes by looking at your drawings? Sort of recalling what was said while you were drawing this person's hair, or that person's shirt... (And as always I love your lettering.)
Love the sketches, especially the ink drawings. And you clearly know how to make time fly at lectures.
