I've spent the last five or so hours rendering and believe I am high from the marker fumes. I don't recommend it. But, in any case, this 'highness' led to a small blind contour-athon. I find this to be a great stress reliever and the finished product so interesting. It's like looking at another person's artwork, someone outside of me.

These are awesome! ...although they do look like you been sniffin' some major fumes. : )
These are fun drawings. I remember when I used to take oil painting class and there was poor ventilation in the room and everyone was using turps. I would get so stoned from the fumes I'd be unable to speak clearly at the end of the class and even forgot to pick up my kid at school once. No wonder I have such a poor memory now!
The blind contour drawings made me laugh!! I should try them more often. Or is it sniffing markers that i should try. I love your picture of the markers by the way.
Fun contour drawings, Suzanne. You might enjoy taking part in Blind contour friday - a monthly activity, first Friday of the month. See inkfinger.us for more info ...
The blind contour drawing of you drawing yourself does this cool thing if you stare at it just right. The different parts of the drawing look like they are on different 3D planes, and the features are out in space in front of the head.
Or maybe I just spent too much time staring at those computer generated 3D images in the 90s! : )
Julie- Your second comment makes me really think you have been sniffing some marker fumes too! Just kidding, now that I look at it, I see what you mean. Weird. Who knew I could be marketing myself in this way!
Jana- I just about fell over when you said you almost forgot to pick your 'kid' up at school. Reminds me of a time my mom forgot me in the grocery store.
France- You should try them! I think you'll find them very refreshing.
Karen- Thanks for the suggestion. I'm definitely going to have to start taking part.
very nice works.
I love them.
