reading between the chopsticks

It's not unusual for random things to end up together on a page in my sketchbook. Today it was my friend from work, John, who said he was 'reading,' not sleeping (yeah, right :) ) and what I saw while waiting for my lunch.

No new activity from The Granola Thief to report today...
