Uhhh....... maybe you should think about moving. Just kidding, any thing that will get you from one place to the other is fine with me.

Great sketches... also, love the gate.

Looks like my buick. Great, (of course) sketches of buicks.

France- Yes, I think cars are extremely difficult to draw...in fact, only in the last little while have I started even attempting them at all. And I definitely agree that new ones are the most difficult. The boxier, the better.

Thanks Teri! Do you live in this neighborhood? :)

I agree - cars are so difficult to draw. Maybe it's because of all the angles and straight lines?? What amazes me is the size of the cars in the U.S. How on earth do you drive them?? Let alone park! My car is half the size as one of these Buiks. Great job, as always.

Suzanne, Thanks for the encouragement. I enjoy checking your blog often. I haven't been doing much drawing, but I bought a sketchbook that I've been filling with notes on random things I learn from time to time. When I saw your sketchbook I was kind of blown away by how cool that was.

I love your addition of the gate decoration. It's funny, but I feel like this is a great composition, even it being a sketch. I think your decoration piece offsets those older cars so beautifully! :)

Your sketches are really nice pieces of art

I love the energetic hatching -- especially under the car in the middle. And the fence in there is great too. Cool stuff.

Cool drawing. That's weird about the Buicks. You never see them around here--just lots of Hondas, Toyotas SUVs and hybrids.
