that's me with no spotlight

While unintentional, I've been putting myself through a drawing obstacle course lately. First, all of my pens are running out of ink; second, I'm drawing on tiny business cards; and finally, I am drawing with hardly any light. Let me just say, it is difficult to capture shadows when there isn't a light source. I completed these two drawings while I was waiting in my car at dusk. As you can probably guess, I completed the camera bag first as the sun was setting and the earpiece second, when the sun had sat. I did have my interior light on...however, it wasn't much help. I am pleased with my results though...especially considering the circumstances.

Up next...drawing with blood...ha.

Wow, Suzanne, I'd class this as 'Extreme Drawing'! Next step...drawing in the dark? :-)

You are good Girl! I couldn't do that with flood lights. What detail. You do not need ink or lights.... yup, I think blood would work just fine for you.

Love the bag!

those are great drawings! I love the idea of using small cards to draw on, so fun when you start putting limitations on yourself. Love how you leave just the contour line of your fingers to suggest hand - very nice :)

No blood, please!!! Maybe spit? These came out really well--you'd never know there was a struggle involved.

I know what you mean about drawing in the dark in the car. I actually bought a personal headlight that is used for hiking in the dark (or coal mining I suppose) and I stuck it in my car so next time I want to draw in the dark I'll have light.
