captive models

Church with my parents - June 17. That's my grandmother and mom singing in the choir, first row, far right. Aren't they beautiful? :)

love these, but how do you manage to draw during church? my husband ... not to mention my kids ... would yell at me.

Good question Karen!

For some reason my parents always let me draw in church while I was growing up. I guess because they got a kick out of seeing the backs of people's heads show up on bullitens. Some were better than others...don't get me started on bald men!!!!

However, today I tend to draw pretty small so that my arm doesn't move very much and draw the attention of others around me.

I LOVE the lady in the top drawing. SO good. How can you give a drawing such personality with so few lines?
