location, location, location

I'm having a difficult time getting back to work after a great weekend. Friday alone, we:

1. saw "The Simpson's Movie" (my favorite part is when Homer asks why anyone would want to pay to go to the movie theater to watch something they could see on television for free)

2. went to the pool (Louie's favorite activity)

3. went to a baseball game with new friends (I *heart* Kristie and Brooks)

4. saw fireworks (I'll never get tired of them)

5. went out for pasta (yum!)

In case you were wondering, it was a totally unproductive day work-wise....but we all need some R & R every now and then, right?

The rest of the weekend continued to lead me to an assortment of random places. The sketch at the top is of one of those locales....can you guess where it is?

Great sketch! Your perspectives are always so natural. It looks like there's a conveyor belt in the middle and some open doors on the side... dunno. Help, i'm lost!!

You're on the right track France....everything you've guessed is correct. But where am I?

Thanks Nancy...indeed, I have been enjoying myself.

Your drawings make me want to bust out my design markers and scribble away. Very well done...

I'm guessing the loading dock at FedEx. Great sketch.

You got it Irene...the writing was really on the...er...side of the truck? Like I said, my weekend took me to some pretty random stops.

Brilliant sketch. Wow. I would never have tackled this - just because of that perspctive. France is right, you do make it look so effortless. I would never have guessed the location either. I don't even know what a loading dock at FedEx is??! I do know, however, that this is just excellent.
