manuel + lisa

Last night Edgar and I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of his friend and coworker, Manuel, to his beautiful fiance Lisa. The event was gorgeous and fun. There was even a Mariachi Band, reflecting Manuel's Mexican heritage.

Below are a few sketches I made throughout the night in an attempt to capture pieces of the special time for the lovely couple. I hope these help them remember the beauty of the night for many years to come.

Each one is just beautifully done and I'm sure the couple will really appreciate it. Can't believe you found the time to do it with all that was going on.

Such a treasure for them! What a thoughtful gift! I wish that I could get past my anxieties about drawing in public -- such great things are possible (as demonstrated by you!) when you do... great, great stuff...

WOW! I think that's a wonderful gift for your friends and they'll be honored. Your paintings in a multi-frame with a few wedding photos ... how special and wonderful.

Very elegant, dynamic -- you avoided all the tackiness that i usually associate with weddings.

These are gorgeous. Any one or all (arranged and matted in one frame) would make WONDERFUL anniversary gifts!
