crafty christmas

Today I decided to try my hand at making a Christmas garland. Despite not having the green ribbon I thought I had in my ribbon box, I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Now I think I'll try making some more that can stay up year-round. Everyday is a good day for something a little festive.

On a side note, notice anything funny about my Christmas tree? How about the fact that there are no presents under it? In typical "Suzanne fashion" I'm a little behind on the Christmas gifts...

that tree is really pretty... I don't get to decorate my families christmas tree this year...

Funny? What could be funny about having no presents under the tree? I have none, either. Let's start a movement!
I, too, love your garland.

Join the present-less club! Of course, at least you got a tree up this year -- which is more than I can say for myself! LOVE the garland... and am thinking that X's and O's with kiss prints would be awesome for the next seasonal garland... Really love the idea of keeping something fun up throughout the year. You're right -- every day should be a celebration!

this reminds me of the phase that they've been using on the lifetime channel all december "your watching fa la la la lifetime!" haha and don't worry there are absolutely no presents under our tree so your not alone!
