EDM Challenge: Something China or Ceramic

I'm a firm believer that sticks make the best houseplants. They give you height and edginess....and they're relatively indestructible! Remember my houseplant party from over a year ago? Well, in the time since almost all my plants (with the exceptions of Benji and Peanut) have passed away. I know, I know...it's a crime!. From now on, I'm sticking with sticks!

I like the simplicity in this sketch. Very serene.

wonderful - love the lines, and the simple color. and your sticks would find plenty of like-minded company here in my house.

Hahaha! This post is really funny! I think I'll have to agree with you that sticks are the way forward for me too. My mum gave me a pretty pot of winter flowers and they're looking pretty dead already.

Oh yes, beautiful sketch. And knowing my relationship with plants, i support these sticks wholeheartedly. :-) Design-wise, i think they look kickass.

Very zen...I have some of those as well. Luckily my husband can usually bring them round at the last minute.

Such a simple drawing, but so stunning. Wow. And btw, I'm a plant killer, too. Thank goodness for my husband ... without him, the plants and probably dog would starve.

Sticks: you and me both! The composition here is awesome. Do you plan it out before you drew it?

I tend to keep sticks too. I've got a willow branch that I've hauled around to about 5 different homes and up the Alaska Highway from Seattle to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Also I have a few pieces of driftwood that I want to get around to painting someday. Pretty drawing, too.
