Arggggg...I've complained about this before. The interior designer in me should want to fix it, but instead I continue to draw it. Hmmm...maybe tomorrow.
Haha - funny.... It's like the old "physician, heal thyself" thing - fashion designers wear the most boring clothes, web designers have the worst web sites, graphic designers have crappy letterhead.... besides, your tangle of wires makes for such great sketches. Love the pillows in the previous one too.
I know exactly what you mean. My TV/stereo/vcr/DVDR/TiVo stand is a mess of wires and is sooo ugly. But it works great and I just don't see it most of the time. One of these days though.... I really must make my house look more grown up! But with an exercise bike in bright yellow also in my living room...maybe it's just hopeless. Nice drawing anyway and I love your new banner. It's very clean and beautifully designed.
Add me to the growing list of fans of the new header! :)
I think that huge flat screen TVs that you hang on the wall like a painting aren't too bad looking, but yes, wires are the bane of our existence too. And i don't even have beautiful sketches to compensate for it.
Thank you all for your comments and a special thanks to those of you commenting on the new banner. It always makes me a little nervous when I mix it up...
Diana- The large font is Sansumi Demi-Bold...my favorite font of the moment. The smaller font is called Print Clearly.
I hate them too and actually designed an alcove in my lounge so the TV would slot in and only the screen shows, if I had my way it would have doors on too so I could shut it away. Great sketch!

Cool new header! And I love the hatching in this drawing, as well as your handwriting. Which is sort of similar to mine, I think.
