I really want to be green. The key words here are "want to be." While I have the best of intentions, my actions do not always reflect my desires. These canvas bags are a prime example.Kermit the Frog really knew what he was talking about.
I have six, bright green bags that seldom make it to the car, and they can be placed in the trunk at any time. They are remembered as I walk into the grocery store. At least they sometimes make it to the store. They are so much easier to carry than the plastic bags, so just for convenience sake it's a shame I forget to notice the blinding bright green bags.
I have to have my canvas bags in the car or they'd never get used either. :) Oh, and you're using your bag - as a model for your art rather than as a grocery store carry-all, that's all.
I forget them a lot, too. I have about a zillion of them, scattered around the house and the car, so I'm supporting the green bag industry. Does that help?
I love your doggie hanger! I swear, most days I'd forget my head if it weren't screwed on -- so keep up with the good intentions... they will manifest themselves in other ways, I'm sure!
We use our canvas bags so much nowadays that we sometimes have to force ourselves to get plastic bags so we have something to line the rubbish bins with!
If you put the bags on the doormat, after you've unpacked your shopping, you'll always remember them - cause you'll trip over them otherwise. That's my tip. However, while this usually ensures they make it to your car, it doesn't neccessarily mean they'll make it into the shop.
Did I ever mention that I really fancy Kermit? I've had a massive crush on him for years now...
Same problem here. Our municipality provides these cool green bags but i keep forgetting to put them in the car. So i always come home with plastic bags. Ha.
