be careful what you reach for

I share almost all of my drawings with Edgar prior to posting them. When he saw this one he laughed out loud and said in the nicest possible way "Baby, you're an idiot!" I couldn't agree more :)

this is great, and solid advice for those of us who rise far too early after a late night of drawing.

An artist with a wicked sense of humour - what more could Edgar ask for ;)

I think you should have this done up as a poster! I'd love to have it framed in my bathroom, personally. 8)

What a great balance of philosphical musing and excellent drawing! Made me smile.

I love the idea of your sketchbooks on show. Thanks you for sharing them.

I'm laughing too...though it is very wise advice. :)

Hey, this happens. I did this when I was 10. My mother had left out her cracked nipple cream (breast-feeding is literally a pain, apparently) and guess what ended up on my toothbrush that morning, although thankfully not in my mouth. At the last moment, I noticed that it had a strange consistency and examined it more closely. Even now, I mentally retch when I think of what might have been.

one morning after a long night of both of us up with a cranky baby my husband accidentally grabbed the tube of diaper rash ointment and brushed for a good 5-10 sec before realizing it wasn't toothpaste.
