conscientious objector

There is something so satisfying about visiting the mall this time of year, in the midst of all the madness, and not participating in it, only observing it. Too bad I'll probably get sucked into the participation part of it in a matter of days.

I've never been a mall rat, but I love this drawing here. Can't believe it is already the holidays!

We hadn't been to the mall in a year, apparently...my younger son reminded us the other night, as we drove by, that the last time we were there was last October. I'll just look at your pretty picture of the mall and skip going myself. ;)

Love the drawing, you make it look so easy! I hate shopping and wonder why shopping centres (malls)have more than one shop that sells the same thing, I need shoes? a shoe shop. How difficult is that? I'm a man and don't understand these things - 'tis the season when I'm supposed to understand! (Oh and be jolly) :-)

You are absolutely, positively wickedly talented!

Oh -- and I am happy to report that I am ALMOST (just 2 gifts left to go) done with my Christmas shopping! And I never set foot in the mall. Like you, I prefer the reserved approach. This year, it was online all the way...
