I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with President-Elect Barack Obama last night. Yes, you read correctly....I had dinner with Obama. We met on the south side of Chicago in a cozy little restaurant. We sat in a booth near the back. Barack was just as charming as I thought he would be. We talked about all kinds of things...the economy, Michelle and the girls...art blogs. I told him I couldn't wait to post about our dinner this morning. Near the end of the night the waiter brought over some sort of flaming dessert. I think it may have been bananas foster. A spark leaped over from it to Barack's collar, catching it on fire. He didn't notice, but I did. I alerted him before it was too late. In essence, I saved our future president. I'm a hero.
Too bad it was only in my dream. Instead of waking up a hero, I woke up to oatmeal and a very quiet North Carolina morning. I guess that's not too bad either.

Haha, I'm always amazing by the detail in other people's dreams. Mine are always very vague. And usually terrible things happen (so Obama would've just died if that had been my dream :( )
You really had me believing you! I was thinking, Well, maybe she lives in Chicago -- because earlier today I heard Obama really was out and about in public.

That's the cutest dream!! I once dreampt I was having dinner with David Letterman. He read me a poem and gave me a red rose. lol.
