Hello! I'm back and refreshed after an incredible few days in New York City with my girlfriends. W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L.! Awww, what a change of scenery and time spent with friends will do for one's spirit. Did I mention I got to see France! and her husband Tom? Though I felt an instant connection to France the first time I saw her work, getting to meet her in person was too special...something I hope gets to happen a lot more in the future. And don't get me started on seeing her sketchbooks in person...all three of them...ah-ya-ya...

I LOVE this sketch. There's a special quality to sketches that are done hundreds of miles from home.
I can't believe you had the energy to sketch when you were not even properly unpacked yet! I can generally barely summon up the will power to put stuff away...
