unpacked

Hello! I'm back and refreshed after an incredible few days in New York City with my girlfriends. W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L.! Awww, what a change of scenery and time spent with friends will do for one's spirit. Did I mention I got to see France! and her husband Tom? Though I felt an instant connection to France the first time I saw her work, getting to meet her in person was too special...something I hope gets to happen a lot more in the future. And don't get me started on seeing her sketchbooks in person...all three of them...ah-ya-ya...

Aw, Suzanne, Tom and i are still talking about it. What a thrill it was -- and you've probably seen that i made a whole big deal about it on my blog!
I LOVE this sketch. There's a special quality to sketches that are done hundreds of miles from home.

I can't believe you had the energy to sketch when you were not even properly unpacked yet! I can generally barely summon up the will power to put stuff away...

Oh, Suzanne. I love LOVE this drawing. It's just perfect. And, really captures that feeling of getting back from a trip PERFECTLY.

Loved the photo of you and France. just wish I could have been there too. Maybe one day....

Right, so I should have enlarged the drawing and read it BEFORE commenting. It also captures being on a trip perfectly. Hahaha.

I was just so excited to see you back that I had to comment right away!
