Oh, wow. This is the most amazing news ever. I was moaning on my blog the other day how there seems to be no good news these days. How everything seems just so bleak. Well, here is that chink of light. Amazing news. Amazing. Thank you America.
I stayed up all night and watched it, his speech was broadcast at around five this morning and it was moving! I really got a sense that things will get better from now on, really moving stuff.
Hoo-ray! My husband was there in Grant Park for the rally. The feeling here on the south side of Chicago was amazing yesterday, although I'm pretty sure it was like that in a lot of places!
