ginger snaps

It's strange to me how sometimes I'll draw something and it looks like someone else did it. I don't see my hand at all. This is one of those times. Oddly enough, these are also my favorite drawings...the ones I keep coming back to. I wonder what this all means?

I love your ability to make a commercial package look so real - great letters.

i agree with shirley! maybe when that happens you're in some kind of creative-zone like athletes? happy new year!

That's what eating one pound of ginger snaps will do to you - LOL!

Seriously, though, I think Cindy's got it right with the "zone" thing. Maybe those moments, you're channeling your deepest talents that tend to be buried in a busy, everyday more productivity-oriented life?

Love your drawing - love these cookies too, but my kids think they're gross unfortunately, so I never bother to get them when I'm at the grocery store...

It means you need to take out a handful of those gingersnaps, place in nuker for 10 seconds and drink with a glass of your fave drink. Nuking the gingersnaps makes them warm and soft.

If you've already eaten the entire bag, this is a good excuse to go get some more...

Now that sounds like a good idea Allie! I'll have to try it...I think I have a few ounces left in the bag.

OMG! I was just eating some ginger snaps that my friend sent me from the mainland! I've been crunching away and enjoying every morsel! I love this ode to snaps and you've inspired me to draw my package of yummy goodness!

Ginger snaps are good for you! And I know what you mean about some work showing more evidence of your hand than others, but I also think you've got a very flexible style. Beautifully done, Suzanne. Happy 2009 to you.

Cool drawing. I think it'd make a neat poster :)

Love the drawing, though i don't think i would want to touch these with a ten-foot pole. :-D
And i love this experience -- not recognizing your hand. I couldn't agree with Teresa R more. Spot on.

I know that feeling! I always wonder if it's because the picture is especially good that I feel like someone else did it, or if I feel like it's good because it doesn't look like me. Great drawing, by the way!
