A friend of mine recently sent me an email that said the following: "By doing the work that gives you passion you uplift the world." I find to be a terrific mantra, one I want to carry with me in 2009. I r.e.a.l.l.y enjoy designing, drawing and blogging and look forward to another year of sharing this joy with you.
Speaking of joy, I received the above work of art tucked inside a Christmas card from Gerald de Dios (and Olivia!). Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness Gerald and for sharing your passion with me.

Hi Suzanne - happy new year to you and Edgar. I have found your work inspirational and great fun! My time blogging is counted in days and the short time I've been doing it has pushed me forward in a way I never expected! Blessings to you both have an utterly stupendous New Year crammed with arty things

I found you via surfing....started at illustrationfriday.com and linked to you through someone else and someone else! Anyway...you have inspired me to create more ART! Art is my passion and I find I spend way too much time working at my job and less time creating. This year...I'm going to change that! Keep creating --your work is great!
Happy New Year Suzanne, keep em coming.
Hi! I came by way of Casey's blog. I like your style! I'll come by more often to see what you have here. I do love the message of this post!!!

what a cool mantra for the new year!I am going to follow that one too!
This is a fantastic quote; something I need to keep and take to heart, as well. Thanks for sharing all this great and fun art. Best wishes for 2009, and, since I'm here already, very belated congratulations to Edgar, too!
