I also needed a little rest and relaxation after what was one of the busiest weeks ever at school. On Friday (12/12 at 12 noon) my second year studio unveiled a project they have been working on all semester: a prototype for a new bus shelter[s] in Greensboro.

Through research this fall, students learned that our city has 1100 bus stops but only 64 bus shelters, leaving thousands of waiting patrons unprotected. With the concept of germination in mind, the students created this shelter, which they hope will serve as a seed for change within our community. Needless to say, I'm quite proud.
