dinner by memory

dinner by memory
As a quick [and fun] warm-up exercise in yesterday's drawing class I asked my students to illustrate what they had for dinner the previous night. Who says you can't play with your food?

As you can tell from my drawing I have quite a thing for sweet tea...especially during a dinner spent working...

Mmmm. Sweet tea is the best. You can't get it in Indiana except at McDonald's, and I don't consider it real sweet tea there.

I would love to know your recipe for sweet tea cause frankly I don't have one and don't feel like experimenting to find a good one.. so if you wanna share I would love to know what you do. Thanks

Dinner last night by memory...homemade cupcakes with homemade marshmallow frosting. I too have a sweet tooth.

That would be seriously taxing my memory to remember what I had for dinner the previous night. It'd be an exercise in futility rather than drawing. ;)

Yummy. You must be the best teacher! I wish I had such fun assignments when I was taking art classes back in the day.

Sweet tea? yuk! ... mind you it depends whether it's cold or hot... no, I'm not weird. I just have personal tastes, I suppose. I would have trouble drawing last night's dinner... I didn't have anything - still too full from yesterday's late lunch!!!
