model teaching assistants

heather
One of my friends often speaks about the importance of surrounding yourself with good people...good people who help you to be your best. Well I am lucky to be surrounded by an abundance of these people! This is especially the case this semester with my teaching assistants. Heather (above) and Lauren (below) excel at helping me keep track of attendance, assignments, student questions and my sanity. Not to mention they make very good models for the class (both in their ability to remain still for students to draw and in their own work).

Meili : I bet they wish they could get paid too :)

They Call Her Buttercup : I can think of no higher compliment than to have my work compared to that of my favorite illustrator ever Quentin Blake---who is responsible for all those Roald Dahl drawings!

Jules : What a cool comment...I've never thought about it this way.
