if I were a paperdoll...

I might look like this:
paperdoll
I don't normally carry around a sketchbook and pencil in my undies, but hey, I'm made of paper! Anything goes. Note the skinned knee and sunburn. I currently have both.

Today I would wear this: an outfit perfect for reading in the sunshine and walking the dogs.
green tank top and jeans
In case you are wondering, those are tabs, not platforms on my tennis shoes. Platform tennis shoes are probably not the best choice for dog walking.

Last week I would have worn this outfit in order to stay warm in the snow.
brown sweater and jeans

There is never a dull moment as paper doll in North Carolina where one minute it is 10 degrees and the next 80. Who knows what outfit tomorrow's weather will bring...

Hmmm, perhaps now is a good time to check the Feather Report.

How cute you are as a paperdoll! I love that coat and jeans. How about a pussycat doll outfit now.

Oh, I love this! I had a paper doll of Princess Di when I was little and loved it to pieces (I suppose literally...).

What a fun, fun set of drawings.

Just when I think I've seen all that you have to offer, you pop up with yet another surprise that puts a huge smile on my face! I'm another one of those girls who grew up infatuated with paper dolls. Wish I had yours to play with!

Paper dolls are such fun. You reminded me of something I had totally forgotten. When I was in my teens I loved sketching fashions, to make the process simpler, I took cardboard and created paperdolls in my own image (rather curvier -- and much less fashionable in the Twiggy era -- than yours) that I could use to provide an outline for each new outfit. I'm sure all that stuff has long since disappeared from my parents's attic.

You're reviving very good memories with your paper dolls outfit! I've had such great fun as a kid playing with them!!
... and I hate to have to change outfit ten times a day because the weather can't make up its mind! So I entirely sympathise!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I think the sketches on both your blogs are awesome. You are so talented.

I'm a teacher so next week I have spring break. I can't wait to relax too.

I look forward to seeing what else you sketch. This was such a cute post. Oh and I really, really, really want to get a tattoo of the little guy by my comments. I call him Mr. Cupcake.

The style is so good; I believe you could do superbly (professional) illustrating kids' books.

Boys tennis shoes are not only very stylish, but are very comfortable and supportive as well. This article discusses some of the various reasons why tennis shoes are important for young boys to wear. I find a website for the Best Shoes for Playing Tennis. If you want you can visit this site.
