You see, a few weeks ago I changed my blog address from http://www.suzannebuchanan.blogspot.com to http://www.anopensketchbook.com All was well. You typed in my old address, it sent you to the new one.
Fine and dandy.
But starting late last week, this message box comes up:

Gee thanks Blogger...we've been good friends for so long and just like that you turn on me. You're like an ex-boyfriend spreading rumors. I promise I don't offer spam, viruses or any other forms of malware. I'm just here to share a little joy...nothing more, nothing less.
In order to avoid this pesky little gateway box, please do me a very kind favor and direct your browsers to my new address. If you link here...thank you! thank you!...if you don't, please do! And, if you want to go one step further, and mention this little snafu on your blog, on twitter, on facebook...I would REALLLLLLY appreciate it. It seems that in some cases the aforementioned annoying little box doesn't come up at all which may mean I'll lose my dear readers entirely unless I get the word out.

The bos DOES come up but if people simply fight the urge to panic and press the "yes" button then they can find you!
It didn't come up for me...just said the page was unavailable.
Nothing untoward has happened at my end - which is strange because Blogger often plays up with me !
That's interesting Suzanne, because Blogger didn't re-direct me or anything, it just told me your page was gone. I was sad, until I realized I could still find you through Flickr. Hooray!

I just get your RSS feed so didn't even notice the URL had changed.
that is interesting b/c I never had that problem when I got my own domain and redirected it to my blogspot domain. have you discovered yet what is causing the issue?
um...I think I have it figured out...
your blogger domain is suzannebuchanan.blogspot.com NOT www.suzannebuchanan.blogspot.com. There is no www. does that help? Although it looks like even that is redirecting now.
things work fine, never thought of you as a spam type anyway.
I just tried it and it redirected me no problems. Weird. Anyway I've added the new address to my feeder so I won't miss any of the fun :D

silly blogger...there are just so many little glitches that pop up at unusual times. if it wasn't free, i'd have switched already!

i did notice it didn't work when i last looked, but i thought it was my internet connection. I'll switch the link to the new URL.
Seems to be working fine now...it even showed up on my blog list as the new URL without my having to do anything. :)
