Now now.... If that were such an important quality in spouse-dom, Edgar would have married a chef not a bright, funny, smart, lovable, supportive, talented woman like you. You ask him if he'd trade you for the best best cook in the world, just ask!
if only your mother-in-law could draw as well as you! everyone has their own creative outlets! drawing is yours - cooking is hers! those cookies you made for the student display were pretty good!! :)

AND one more thing. do you think Edgar would be happy if he thought this was making you unhappy?
my baby cooks a rock, Edgar eats a rock and he is happy because he knows the garden of love that rock came from. buen provecho!
Awww, thank Sheila for the vote of confidence!
And Edgar, I'll be sure to remember that when I cook dinner tonight :)

Believe me, it's not just you! I've even tried out some of my mother-in-law's recipes and made a complete mess of them :(
There ya go, Edgar gave his thoughts. Enough said. I vote with the others that you keep your artistic talents instead! ;)
Your mother-in-law must love you! ;)
How fabulous this is. How did you create this tasty little dish?
And, how cute, exactly, are you two?
The lettering! This is great!
