Speaking of which, here's a glimpse into my story. I like to watch TV...waaaahhh, waaaahhhh! Oh well...we all have our vices.
With this post I'd like to challenge you to share a bit of your own story through a drawing of your living space. Why?
1 : Because it's fun.
2 : And because, selfishly, I'd love to visit your home and learn more about you.
If you choose to 'open your house', simply leave a link to your drawing in my comments section no later thanmidnight (Eastern Time) on Thursday 8 am (ET) Friday and I'll post your drawings [and photos] here, along with links to your blog/website. How does that sound?
And while we're on the subject of houses, I've also happy to announce that a favorite store of mine, All Modern, has a wonderful giveaway in the works for An Open [Sketch]book readers!!!! All Modern, part of CSN Stores, features a fantastic selection of modern and contemporary furniture and home accessories from many iconic designers, including George Nelson, whose bench our TV is on, and whose Swag Leg Desk is on my wish list! Yum. Stay tuned for more details about the giveaway...

ok, I'll take the challenge - and thanks for the peek into your living room!
what fun! i'm in - thanks for the challenge to get me out of my sketching rut!!
fun indeed!
I'm in too...sounds fun. Actually, I've been wanting to do this myself-we sold our condo (officially 2 weeks ago) and are in the process of purchasing a house. It has been stressful, and now (finally!) exciting (provided the whole thing works out.) In any case, I wanted to do a few drawings of our condo before we are gone. Be back with the links in a few days, and good luck with your search!
I live in University residences (still...), so here's my little room!

Hi Suzanne - my challenge is up on my blog!

Oh no, I'm way too late to join in. That's what you get from spending too much time on Flickr, and not enough time visiting blogs.
I LOVE this idea but fear I will not have any drawings to send to you. I might just try and take some photos tomorrow. Or have a look through my archives.
I ADORE snooping around peoples houses too!

Oh my goodness! I saw this post Thursday morning at around 3:00 AM! And I've been gone all day until about twenty minutes ago! I've been stressing to get a few sketches in on time, and now just saw that the deadline's been bumped! haha!
Yikes! I hope I'm not too late-

Can't wait to see everyone else's entries!

Hi Suzanne,
Wonderful challenge! I managed to get this drawing done while working on an apartment kitchen redesign in my other house that was built in 1890. Now there is contrast. Thanks for the challenge.
