This
back-seat-drawing comes from this morning's final graduate critique. For several of the students presenting the critique marks the end of their long careers as students. They are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel: a feeling I remember very well.

What an exciting (and nerve-wracking) time!
am I seeing the silouette of Vanessa in this??
whew! final critiques are nerve-wracking...so good to feel the end of the trial is almost over!
I went to a meeting (held at a local university) this week that looked EXACTLY like that!
Well..Your drawings make my day! cannot wait to experiment with some markers this weekend... you should add the "Marker Magic" book to your wish list ...so FUN! we never covered that stuff in our architorture school days....so now I am finding it wonderful to experiments with new techniques.
I wanted to share my latest post on typewriter with you. Suzanne, I know you'd appreciate it, I put so much work and love into it...and I am so *happy* with it http://wp.me/prj6s-vZ
what do you think? do you know Nick Bantock's book 'A Forgetting Room'? What do you think of his collages? I am in love with them, so surreal, and antique-looking/feeling. well enough of me, I love your silhouette drawing. You are such a master in illustration.
What a great sketch - I feel as though I'm there.
This is BRILLIANT, Suzanne. I learn so much from each of your drawings.
