A reminder for my students at UNCG, who've contributed to a wonderful 3.5 years of design inspiration and sketching, and for whom I have the deepest respect. I wish you the best.
I never planned on being a teacher...but through you're questions, processes and lightbulb moments I've found such happiness. Thank you.

Thank you for everything, Suzanne. You have been an inspiration to all of us. There are no words for how much you have helped each one of us grow as designers, and as artists. You have been there to encourage us each step of the way. You will be missed by me, and by everyone.
Thank you,
Alyssa Hankus
Suzanne,
You and I already spoke, but I just wanted to agree completely with Alyssa. You have been an inspiration to all of us first year students and we were honored and privileged to have you for the time we did. You have definately made a difference in each and every one of our lives and I will be forever thankful to you.
I wish you well.

Wow! From reading these comments, it sounds like you're the kind of professor every student hopes to have, and the kind they remember for years to come.
Suzanne, my heart goes out to you today. Aren't high school/college-aged students the absolute best? I can tell your two students (above) truly enjoyed and gained much from you as a teacher.
Many hugs.
you never planned on being a teacher ... but you're one of the best i've ever had. uncg is totally on the losing end of this deal.
i just can't wait to see what else you never planned on doing. i guarantee we will all watch with awe and amazement!
Your so amazing and i just see this as a chance for you to make others as [design]happy as you have made us with your brilliant talents. Look at this as a new opportunity to do great things and push forward cause i am so ready to see whats next.
So congrats on your new path to more design happiness.
Your Forever Friend
thinking of you my blog friend! I just *know* you will be glorious.
There's nothing quite as exciting as not knowing what tomorrow will bring. Be in the moment, do what you love, and the outcome will exceed your wildest dreams.
