This is a portrait I worked on a couple of weeks ago for Patrick, who wanted a creative profile image to generate attention for his entry in Banana Republic's Mad Men Casting Call. In addition to paying tribute to the drawing style popular along Madison Avenue during the show's era, we developed a complete back story for Patrick's character : Edward Francis George.
Unfortunately, Mad Men didn't appreciate our creativity as much as we appreciated our creativity :) and disqualified us for submitting a drawing rather than a photo. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!
