I've never really bought into the idea that one buys
Playboy for the 'articles', however, this one from a vintage 1960's issue may just change my mind. Well, kinda.
Now, I'll believe it when someone says they buy
Playboy for the '
illustrations'.
Isn't this architectural section just to die for!!!! Look at the light!
Click

And get a load of the master bedroom. This is certainly THE bachelor pad.
You can find the rest of the article
here. No naked women, just an article with sweet illustrations...I promise!

Ahem, Suzanne.....that's Ken's playhouse you've stumbled upon. Great detective work.
Good one Carol!
i LOVE that... I'll move in with Ken anyday!
I absolutely LOVE the dark background to these drawings!! I've always used hued paper for other artwork, but never for crisp interior illustrations... After seeing this post yesterday, I grabbed a pad of dark charcoal paper for my future perspectives!
Ooooh Linsey. Please share these when you finish. I'd love to see them!
If I would have seen this as a kid, I would have eaten it up...I love scouring the cruise ship plans my parents had at the house. Do you remember Suzy Homeaker? Richard Scary...loved those too.
Going back to look...lol
Best,
Michelle
