First up, Darragh, a salesman at the Sherwin-Williams on High Point Road in Greensboro. Last weekend we were in the store purchasing paint for the babies' room and he was so helpful. Not only did he help us make a budget-friendly selection, he expressed interest in our project and the pregnancy. It's such a nice feeling when someone is there to help, not just sell.

What a wonderful idea!! The lady at the Bella Cosa jewelry shop who helped us look at wedding bans this weekend was absolutely wonderful! I wish I remembered her name :/

Makes me remember something... did you paint the outside of your house yet...? I thing it was concerning your house, you showed pictures like samples and colors like blue, aubergin, yellow... ? Remember?
love your little blogette! Wonderful illustrations! Congrats on the babies, how wonderful, two boys! ;-D
oh, I didn't know you are in Greenesboro,NC... I have property just nort of King! So, we're kinda neighbors...at least maybe one day when I escape Central Florida! take care!
Helen--no the house painting got put on the back-burner with the baby news. Focusing on the inside now, outside later.
RC--You're welcome in the neighborhood any time!
oh!! Thank you, Suzanne!! I WOULD ENJOY a visit, that's for sure!! he he
Love this idea! Was thinking of compiling a list, myself, recently. And, yay for Darragh!
I have someone to give a virtual pat on the back! I don't know his name, but there is the kindest teenager working at the grocery store in the neighborhood. Everytime he's there and sees me unloading my stuff (and my kids!) into the car, he'll come take the empty cart back to the cart corral for me. He is the best, and he just did it again yesterday morning, when I was doing my pre-blizzard (yikes!) shopping. I have to get his name and write a note to the store on his behalf.
When the babies get here, Suzanne, you will love any person who goes out of their way to make your day even just the tinest bit easier.
Cheers to your paint specialist as well!
Hey Cabreras! I follow your blog religiously, and have for awhile. This post inspired me to write one of my own - I decided to buck up and conquer my fear of writing, since I have so many wonderful people in my life who teach me things, and that I'd like to thank!
