I believe what I enjoy the most about Downton Abbey is how the drama revolves around so many strong female characters, including three very different daughters. In fact, the Crawley family kind of reminds me of my own...minus their fancy titles, social standing, estate, servants, formalities....
What show can you not get enough of at the moment? We always love a new series, so suggestions on what to watch next greatly appreciated!

I just discovered this show too & love love love it! Some of my favs are Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Parks & Rec & The Wire. Oh & Game of Thrones. Gee, I watch a lot of TV....

Suzanne, if you love Downton Abbey (which we love, love love as well) you are gonna adore the Larkrise to Candleford series!!! You may have to order it (my dear mother-in-law has given me the first two seasons) and a few are on You tube. Anyhoo...you'll love seeing Mr. Bates as Robert and tons of other well-known British actors.
I am crazy about Downton Abbey! I rarely ever get involved with a TV series - I don't even own a TV! But thanks to Netflix, I am completely hooked on that show. I find myself thinking about the characters long after the show is over. Love it!
I love love LOVE Downtown Abbey!! So much that I didn't want it to break for the season. I've been watching "Ringer" and also "Make It Or Break It :D MIOBI comes back on March 26th.
I realize that my new obsession isn't as fancy pants as Dowtown Abbey...but let me tell you, it's fabulous in it's own rite.
Please, please, please watch Vampire Diaries on Netflix. It's fantasic. Seriously.

Just read your comment on my blog...my advice on Vampire Diaries..it's seriously cheesy at first. Just hang in there. Around episode 5ish you'll be hooked. I'm on episode 12 and I'm a little obsessed.
Too bad that Zach won't watch it with me. He says to "watch it on your own time." Ha! So...my "own time" is around 11:00pm after he's asleep:).

I will have to watch Downtown A on Netflix and give it a try :) As for suggestions, I just finished Friday Night Lights on Netflix and LOVED it.
Also, my husband and I really love Justified on FX :)
Downton is awesome. I really love that your sketch of Mary has eyebrows. Those are such a distinctive part of her face!
I love so many shows. Parks & Rec and 30 Rock are my favorite comedies. Everything that people have mentioned above is worth watching (I've never seen Vampire Diaries, but I've heard good things)! I'm getting into Supernatural right now. Thank goodness for streaming netflix.
