Lately, I can
not open my sketchbook near Max and Miles without feeling as though I've entered a shark tank at feeding time. Something about the idea of me sketching makes them go Crazy [with a capital 'C'], thirsting for attention and to sit on my lap at that very moment. Today, I embraced this with the first of what I hope will be many collaborations with two budding artists, each with their own style. Max prefers a good ol' No. 2 to any colored pencil, while Miles likes to switch between the two with every other stroke.

Des oeuvres précieuses à conserver... et à offrir lorsqu'ils seront très GRANDS...
gros bisous
Yet another thing I wish I'd done more often. I have several sketches that got attacked after I "finished" them and those are all my favorites! I started handing them my sketchbook when we were waiting places, but it wasn't until they were considerably older than your two.
I definitely see a future in art for these little men :)
jackson pollack watch out!
This is the most wonderful idea! I am going to try this. No point in getting frustrated when I can't sketch the way I want to with kiddos in tow - turn it into a collaboration. Brilliant!
