My brother David left North Carolina to go back home to the Dominican Republic yesterday, so Oscar, Suzanne and I took him to the airport. I have to admit his departure deeply saddened me. All I could say to him was "take care of yourself." We have never expressed verbally the love we feel for each other. I don't think I have ever told any of my brothers " I love you"... and I don't know why. It seems so simple. Of one thing I am sure... my brothers are a part of me as much as my flesh and bones are. Our differences, our similarities, our paths, our ways... will never loosen the bond between us. To us!
