fun with peeps

In case you were curious, peeps don't technically explode when heated in the microwave :) [At least in my limited experimentation in peep explosion.]
bloated peep
They do, however, get very bloated...as if they just enjoyed too much Easter feast...which is equally as satisfying and much less of a sticky mess to clean up!

Sorry to be so unamerican. But what on earth are peeps ? And why are you all so seemingly masochistic towards them ?

Hi Keith--- Good question. Peeps are these little sugar covered marshmallow treats that appear around Easter. If surveyed, I'm sure that half the American population likes them and the other half strongly dislikes. I'm in the group that has to try one each year, only to remember that I dislike. After that you have to figure out a way to make use of the remaining peeps...thus, the microwave frenzy.

Thanks for that. Another piece of pointless info to have to hand when the need arrises.

And it usually does.
