backseat sketcher

bus ride
Returned late last night from a weekend trip back to Monticello and Fallingwater. Loved it just the much the second time as the first. I could move into Fallingwater today and never leave. Sketches from the homes coming soon. In the meantime, here's a glimpse from the bus ride.

Ooh! More of Fallingwater, perhaps with a touch of Hokusai?
Oh! Someone is playing the old Simon & Garfunkel song..."architects may come and architects may go and never change a point of view..."
Serendipity!

I like the details you glimpse from the backseat, the angles make familiar things strange! Monticello was beautiful when I visited so I look forward to your sketches.

Awww! I can't believe that it's been a full year since I myself went on that field trip! It was so inspiring and confirmed for me that I was meant to design! I'm so glad that you got to experience it again!
