Could have sworn I posted this marker study before, but looking back through the archives it seems I didn't. The sketch (based off a magazine image) was made the same day as this demo.
suzanne! there are a million things to love about this one!!!!! the lamp shadow, the lines of the floor, also echoed in lines on the wall & back board, the colors, the cool lighting fixture on the ceiling, ...awesome marker study! this is amazing/LOVE IT!

What a great example! Using an existing image is such a great idea! The use of darker thicker lines grounds things so nicely. A client would be sold!
