Every outlet has been covered; every flat surface, cleared; every cabinet, locked; every cord, hidden. We have two very-busy-bodies on our hands these days.
All safety issues aside, our little men are finding their way in this world and it is fascinating to watch. And it's for this reason we've been missing here as of late. The gravitational pull of the computer has a hard time competing with a pair of soon-to-be-toddlers.
Will we ever get back to regular posts? Certainly, when the time feels right.
Will our work be that much richer thanks to this mini-break? Without a doubt.

Honestly Suzanne I cannot imagine having 2 Tatums. He is a wild man...and as it turns out, a climber (much to my dismay). You are a saint!!! Good thing they are so handsome in their wildness:).
What a beautiful moment! Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with my 3- and 1-year olds, but then I just try to remember that they won't be this small and cuddly and curious forever. Enjoy!

As I sit with my teens while looking at this, I can confirm that those moments never come again. Because I was often far too exhausted to enjoy them, I do tell other parents to try and savor them while they can. :}
Precious photo. And yes...most definitely enjoy. savor. drink in the moments. Our granddaughter is now 12 and finishing up 6th grade and I can't imagine where all those moments have gone, but do know I've enjoyed every one.
