This morning I was painting waves.
The house was in order; the babies, quiet; the creativity, flowing. The sea was calm.
Fast-forward two hours.
A hurricane appears to have swept through our living room; the babies, refusing to nap, are stripping, screaming and throwing stuffed animals; the creativity, at a complete stand-still. The sea is treacherous.
Working from home with toddlers...kinda like a day at the beach. Kinda.

A beautiful set of waves, despite the ruckus : )
Although this is really simple, it somehow catched my eye at once! It calms me somehow :) You managed to channel the calm atmosphere around you into your picture!
Wow. I think we are long lost sisters. I just stumbled on your comment on my blog, and this first post reads my last name! I'm so excited to read more.
Thanks Katie Scarlett! I'm always on the lookout for another sister :)
And much like the sky after a storm, they probably will be sunshiny in the morning! Maybe...
Love the waves, they make me happy. Hope they'll work into something on the etsy store!
Thanks Molly! Great perspective too!
