behind the scenes

Late last year, in the middle of what will forever be remembered as Christmas Chaos 2014, we had an incredible thing happen.  One of our favorite people, a long-time friend from design school, Jen Yancey, joined us at An Open Sketchbook as Studio Manager.

Jen is an incredible talent---you're sure to see plenty of examples of this in future days---but beyond that she is a heck of a worker bee and one of the only people in this world who can keep Edgar and I on task.  I can't tell you how relieved we are to have Jen around.  In addition to helping run our studio, Jen is a mother of three and an incredibly gifted lifestyle photographer. Check out her impressive portfolio of work here.
