Yes, Suzanne, and how about me being the first one to comment here?! What a clever title, "undercover Beagle"!! I love your choice of what to disclose, and how you drew it. Oh and i entirely agree on the Leonard Cohen quote!! :-) I hope you don't mind i made my own interpretation of your eyes. Consider it "inventive drawing"!!
Aaaww, those paws! These drawings are so totally wonderful, and so totally "cuddly dog dozing off in the safe haven (=warm bed) of his(her?) flock". These two drawings make me say a lot of silly Swedish words, impossible to translate, in a childish voice, and to long for my mom´s awesomely charming old dachshound.
cool. Had to come over and check out your stuff. Thanks for the comment. it was pretty funny, I have the "A Beautiful Mind" DVD sitting right here on my desk. I was about to watch it. Love your illustrations. Oh the happiness of hiding under the covers.
Those beagle back legs -- perfect, I'd recognize them anywhere. We had a beagle for a while, but she was too nervous around five active kids and happily went to live with a quiet elderly neighbor lady. But I miss her. I love the way you've indicated the fur.
