Pokey's and my daily walk takes us through the Greensboro Arboretum. It is such a peaceful journey and gives me time to clear my head. I have lots of goals for 2007...so many, in fact, that I often get overwhelmed. Nature is a nice cure for this anxiety.

Reading this made me want to immediately go out and get a dog. I miss that daily excuse to just be outside in nature (as well as missing dogs in general). These are really lovely...very nice botanical illustration.
