EDM Challenge: My Dinner

(in technicolor!)
Perhaps its because I'm Southern...really I'm not sure...but I have a love affair with fresh tomato sandwiches. Love them, love them, love them. One might even be in the running for my last meal in prison...not that I'm planning on going there anytime soon. But just in case.

Perhaps because I am northern I have no idea what one puts on a fresh tomato sandwich. Mayo? Lettuce? Just the tomatoes? Fun to look at and I'm getting hungry.

fresh tomatoes are the only reason i have a garden. well ... that and the fact that my husband likes to garden. Lucky Me! I like to eat them with a little salt over the sink like an apple or in a BLT. In fact, let me go add bacon and lettuce to my shopping list. oh, and i have to make sure i have miracle whip and bread. uh ... and ripe tomatoes too. thanks for the reminder and lovely drawing!

Karen #1- Pretty much you can pair anything with the tomato...I like mayo and cheese with mine :)

Karen #2- Yum...a BLT sounds really good right now! And I'm with you on salting a tomato up and eating it right over the sink...too good!

These look very yummy indeed and healthy too...until you add the cheese and mayo! In the UK we make EVERYTHING into a sandwhich and here (in the North) they are called 'butties'. Tomato buttie sounds and looks great!!! What about a cucumber sandwhich? Now that's posh!

Andrea - Oh, I love how you use the word "posh"...and not to describe a certain spice :) Hee, hee...and I also love the word "buttie." From now on I am only eating tomato butties.

Ummm, a cucumber buttie sounds good too! The funny thing is that here (at least in my neck of the woods) we rarely eat cucumber sandwiches except as hors d'oeuvres at parties...I wonder why?

I love this one, especially! I feel the same way about tomato sandwiches, fortunately so does my husband. One favorite meal is tomato sandwiches, followed by canteloupe.

This looks so yummy, now I want one!
